Gotta give him credit. He didn't shy away from the negative stuff that both happened to him in his life and the negative stuff that he caused to others. Not having Maria Shriver or any of his kids in it at all as interviewees feels like a loud commentary on how she still feels about him and all of that. Nevertheless, I learned a bunch of stuff I didn't know and enjoyed the series overall.

I found this docuseries to be really quite interesting as Arnold reflects on his life story and gives lots of details that I never knew. It was quite insightful to listen to him talk about all three major stages in his professional life and his perspective on all of them. Listening to the story of his childhood and how he was raised, and how that drilled a mindset into him that carried him throughout all of his endeavors was so interesting. I love that he didn't shy away from the negative aspects of his life either, including his mistakes and failures, and the way he reflected on those was, again, so interesting. He really is such a unique character and I thought his persona and mindset shined through. A worthy docuseries through and through.

Interesting but as with all self made docs, it paints a fairly rosy picture of the guy...

I'm not a big fan of Arnold, but this 3-paart documentary is very good and gives you an insight into where he came from and how he became famous. Worth watching for sure.
