This is great entertainment. Serious belly laughs and lots of comic gore to boot.
A brilliant series that really speaks true to the horror/comedy of the original. Sam Raimi brings his vision back in the best way possible, with a dream team of actors, including Raimi returners Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless, for a gorey, boozy, one liner filled demon killing blood bath. Seriously, the show is genius. Every bit as enjoyable as the Evil Dead series.

This show is the best tribute to the original movies and to their fans all over the world. Thanks Sam for creating this brilliant master piece of the best 80's gore, I will always be grateful for having the opportunity to watch this show. As you watch it, you can feel and see that it has been done with huge respect to the saga, and it's hilarious, crazy, sexy, and 100% Raimi.

I've watched a lot of zombie/slasher content in the past. However, after just two episodes, I've decided to stop watching this TV show. It feels too ordinary, lacking any unique elements. I'd rather spend my time rewatching movies instead.

Awesome show definitely truly amazing, I'm not a fan of comedy are slapstick comedy at all, I love my filthy messy glorious gory naughty horror to much but I allow it with Ash and the evil dead because we'll it's Ash and the Evil Dead and for the most part it worked. Phenomenal Characters and this show definitely belongs in the Evil Dead universe, it was awesome and I had a Hella of a lot of fun with it, especially when it was being damn right filthy and messy. Phenomenal show and very naughty and for that Ash Joanne Williams we will always love you.
X FINAL THOUGHT:
Bruce has gone on record on his twitter page to say that if this show did not get picked up for a 4th season that he would be more than happy to carry it all on in THE EVIL DEAD 4
Movie.
But that was then and this is now and Bruce is coming up to 70yrs old in the not to distant future so the light on that is so very very dim.
But TED4 movie aside
What a way he's brought this hole awfully big adventure to a close and for that Bruce and us horror fans will be forever grateful of you and your Legacy.
And if THE EVIL DEAD movie 2013 retelling is anything to go by don't ever count out not seeing Evil and that damn Book rise again to attempt to consume the world.

Really enjoyed it. And it's just a few episodes so it's a good way to spend your weekend.
Evil Dead never forget on this movie, because that was my first movie on VHS. I was home alone with new video and couple video casette, i choose first one "Evil Dead".. I suffer with nightmares next half year (Worst was only Alien), but horror become my favorite genre. . :)
It's simple, if you don't like it... You don't get it. It really is an anti-zombie light hearted show that is needed.

It's took me years to give this show a second chance and I'm so glad I did.So many hilarious moments.
Is it a super corny and over the top B level type production? Yes. Do I love it? Yes. One of the most binge-worthy shows I've ever watched and just filled to the brim with entertainment value. I did cringe at times and the tone was very one-sided to the point of undermining what could have been more serious moments, but I took this for what it was and thought it did a great job of accomplishing what it set out to do. The writers of this show knew exactly what they wanted to make and how to make it, and they were actually pretty successful at keeping the show from becoming too repetitive and mundane, without sacrificing the gory horror comedy action you want. Overall a great little run of TV and while I cringed many times, I couldn't help but be taken away by Bruce Campbell and his charm.
Worst ski? I Ever have seen
A batshit revival of the Evil Dead series, using Evil Dead 2 more specifically as a base. 1 & 3 are referenced in passing, but the foundation of the plot, and especially the tone, is set very much in the balance of gory horror and slapstick comedy. Given that the treatment was handled by Sam Raimi, it's very true to the original movies and Ash's character, without too much pandering in my opinion. I've seen some people upset that there won't be a season 4, but I feel like the ending is so ridiculous that it's more meant as a parody of a teaser. Ruby is a despicable villain who gets the resolution she deserves, things seem tied up for our ragtang gang in the finale, and Ash even had a character arc; I think it's safe to say it's a good place to finally put the Necronomicon to rest.
I loved this show, it should not have been cancelled. From start to finish it was great, every episode was so easy to watch and I had a lot of fun with all of them - it had a great amount of binge worthy material, also very easy to rewatch because of this. I like the take of combing comedy with graphic, gorey horror and for the most part I feel like the show captured the vibes of Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness really well. Season 3 itself felt like a love letter sequel to Army of Darkness, and the cliffhanger was great albeit and evil thing to do since we won't be seeing where that goes anytime soon.
This show is the dick enlargement to BOTH movies which you won't want to stop f*!?ing you once you started watching it. It's that good. Seriously.
Whoever robbed us of a Mad Max-Evil Dead mashup needs to stand trial.
I can't believe shows like Ash vs Evil Dead and Firefly were canceled, but garbage like Killing Eve is going into its fourth season.
While it can’t go be as tight and inventive as the original films this is a comeback that no one thought would happen after 25 years being dead in the ground. Bruce Campbell still carry the chainsaw perfectly even if the dirty old man jokes are more embarassingly frequent and gore more disgusting and gruesome. The new cast and locations make the universe bigger even if Lucy Lawless get annoying by the end as she should have been left by the roadside after season 2. And the huge potential of that ending....wasted. They should at least give this one a wrap-around finale. Pretty, please????
I put off watching it as I knew it had been cancelled after season 3. But I just had to watch it! Binged the whole lot in two weeks... now I'm sad it is no more. Bruce is such a legend!

Groovy from start to finish like only Ashy Slashy can deliver with ample shots of ingenuity, grossness, and nostalgia~!
The series definitely ends in style and will leave you wanting more.

I've been a fan of EVERYTHING Campbell and Raimi (Even read Bruce's book), so trust me when I say I'm NOT a bandwagon. This show was cancelled for very OBVIOUS reasons, season 1 was a great honor to original series; season 2 "tried" to stay the course; season 3 was just "lost". It basically went teen horror (ie scream TV series, pretty little liars), you just know the execs had their claws in the last season! Goodbye my dear friend ASH!

I liked the first season, but maybe I matured in the last 12 months, or maybe the show went downhill. I just know that after seeing his head go up the ass of a dead corpse (spoilers? lol) I decided to switch it off and remove it from Trakt.
I rather think about Ash; the old Ash instead of seeing this.
LOVED the movie... can´t really enjoy the show so far. Some masterpieces should just stay the way they were ....

Where do I start? Well.. AMAZING SHOW! It mixes horror with humor how can you not like it? Some catchphrases or sentences are kind of cheesy but I feel like it's a sort of parody for those TV shows with all the cheesy catchphrases. Never saw the movie but after this I'm surely going to :D
