That was Monte's best choice between the two he had to choose from or Monte would be the next on the block without being able to play for HOH. The girls would vote Turner out. Without Turner one of the girls would be HOH and Monte would be the biggest threat to their game. Unfortunately, with Alyssa still on the block, it will most likely end in a tie for the votes and Monte will vote out Alyssa. Turner being put on the block would probably have been the best option for Alyssa's game.
