As usual, billions' series don't disappoint. Great start of the season.
Chuck Rhoades establishing new connections in order to pave the way for himself in a new enviornment, Bobby Axelrod battling with his new enemies.
I can already tell that it's going to be one hell of a season.
I could sit back and watch Rhoades, Axelrod, and Wags all day long. Wendy was right, those two linking up would be an unstoppable force in the series.
It was funny watching Rhodes trying to get rid of that park anywhere pass.
Did anybody know that Taylor was hot like that? I sure didn't. The nasally condescending voice fucks it up though.
If I had to choose between living as a really ugly girl and a really hot guy, I might choose to be a guy. Just saying. My understanding of the psychology of cis and trans is still more like confused, and I once dated a guy that later turned into a girl. Not that Taylor is otherwise ugly per se, just a bit like a reptilian crossed with a bird. but why did Taylor give up the white privilege that might come with being female, all in order to become between genders?
I like how Bobby Axelrod/Damien Lewis motions with his hands when he talks and stuff, like he uses his body language to communicate or deny communication as effectively & colorfully as everything else.
We all assumed something bad was going to happen when the commissioner laid down in the street like that. Kind of surprised that nothing did.
I think that having Taylor present themselves as a woman for capital was a cheap gimmick meant to make people who aren’t used to being around non-binary people be like “woah Taylor‘s hot” at the expense of character development around what it would mean for them to do that ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but who knows maybe it will come up again. Otherwise excellent episode love watching Chuck make a daisy chain out of favors. Also-Taylor is always hot to me
