Color-ism is so real in our community, to see it come on TV and remind us not one black person is better than the rest is a great thing. I remember seeing light skin girls get bullied by Dark skin girls in high school because they were jealous the boys liked them. I remember seeing light skin men getting positions for acting in theater over better more talented darker actors this is definitely a thing, we see team light skin and dark skin on Facebook all the time and its just a big game too us but in reality its something we are unknowingly destroying one another with.
