For those wanting to start this anime you really should read this. I have some advice:
Please do not give up on this show in the first season. Yes it can seem rough with every episode being very similar. I get it but please don't be put off. You need to make it to the soul society arc. Once that starts this show literally becomes one of the best shonen animes out there. PERIOD. You just need to reach it IMHO.
Be careful what filler to remove. There is some characters that get introduced in filler that stick around in none filler.
Seriously just stick with this anime. I have seen this anime before but now im rewatching it because it's coming back.
