Did Joe Hill NOT become the face of the NYPD? I know there was conflict about him doing it/not doing it because it was exposing his background. I definitely know he was exposed as Reagan bcuz his old squad mates started hassling him, thinking he only made detective so young cause he had the hook. The entire plot point about WHY he left Sunday night dinner/disappeared from their lives. So...... how'd he go undercover when he was publicly exposed as hero cop? I guess that's just acceptable risk hoping no one saw the news/remembers it???
