That scene with Faith and Xander was hard to watch. Faith is so aggressive sexually and she could have easily killed him. I've always been a big Eliza Dushku fan, but Faith is a highly annoying character, even if she's operating from a place of damage.
These past few episodes they seem to have found the best version of Angel, both in his personality and within the plot. He's become more of a mature adviser, "adult" character (which suits Boreanaz better), and they also seemed to have finally worked out the kinks in his costuming. Less mismatched-brown, oversized belts and fake distressed drug addict pants, more Calvin Klein with a side of vampire velour. Sarah continues to amaze with her intricate emoting. Now in HD, it's fascinating to watch all the tiny details like how she changes the size of her pupils, especially noticeable in her reaction when confronting faith on the sidewalk.
Willow crying hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. This was a pretty angsty one.
