Burn the House Down 2023

Pretty good show, I actually really enjoyed watching this. It's not the type of TV Shows I usual watch and I'm glad I gave it a try.

This is a pretty decent mystery. A little slow, but enjoyable. Not really any surprises here just a couple of revelations.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

The premise is mortally flawed but the drama is like watching chess played by masters. The acting is superb, and the performances of these complex characters drive the pace. I binged this in a day and I think that if it hooks you, as it did me, you will best enjoy it served as a full helping. This television’s adaptation is based on a manga serial illustrated by Moyashi Fujisawa. I give this series an 8 (great dynamic) out of 10. [Suspenseful Drama]

I started watching this drama for Nagano Mei, but the premise on which the story is built has made it hard to continue. I mean, I understand the need for drama, but does it really make sense for a husband to divorce his wife just because she caused a house fire, which obviously was an accident, and then for the wife to become so traumatized that she develops amnesia? Wouldn't insurance take care of the aftermath? It's not even as if they are poor. If you have a husband like that, count yourself fortunate to be divorced from him.

It's a shame but I do hope someone (especially those of you who enjoyed it) can offer counterpoints and convince me to give it another chance.

A sweet love story in a mystery clothing.

I always love watching J-dramas! They have great stories that don't leave me feeling heavy or burdened. They're just light and fun, and I always learn a valuable lesson from them.
