I actually liked the liked the alternate universe part of the episode (especially the part where Castle says that he actually was exhibiting his best behavior), but yeah the wedding was lame. It would have taken less than 1 minute for them to invite Esposito, Ryan, and Lanie by text. Instead of focusing on the wedding I was wondering where the rest of the "family" was.

Just as I was thinking why the hell aren't they married yet...
So, they plan the re-wedding at the precint, and they can't even yell "Yo Esposito, Ryan, come with us!"? That's less believeable than the alternate universe...

Deep inside I always knew Beckett and Castle wasn't going to have the big wedding but damn... y'all did us dirty with that meager wedding.
