I like how this approaches women's issues, and trauma. I like how Clarice has come to a point where she's, "willing," to ask a doctor for help. She clearly doesn't, "want," to see a doctor, but she's, "willing," to...take it for a walk.

Jessica Walters died a week or so ago. My Mom's the same age as Jessica Walters, but she hasn't been to a doctor for ten years. She says it's because my Sister's husband (they were separated) was mis-diagnosed, and later died of cancer. I've pleaded with her to just go and have blood labs done...she's not been feeling well, for about a year I just found out. I live with her and her husband...as a, "cellar dweller." I know she's often in pain, often spending longer in the WC than normal. I wish she could just say she's willing. I know doctors specializing in older patients come at things completely differently than my doctor...instead of physical therapy, they'd want to see if her shoes fit...I've explained this. She just won't budge.

This episode hits home with me....
