I gasped so hard when J.J. mentioned the Red Skins game. I was just thinking of how far they've come since then last season. J.J. and Reid have a beautiful dynamic that, despite there being bumps in their relationship, has thankfully not withered.
This was the 300th episode of Criminal Minds. Explains the 300 obsession in the episode and all the callbacks. I never felt any particular love for that episode, but almost every episode in the first 5 seasons or so was amazing, so following up on it boosted this episode a fair bit. There are so many old cases that could use a follow up. The one that first comes to my mind is the family that abducted little girls to find a wife for their son. At the end, the mother said, "Don't tell them about your brothers." I'd love if these final 2 seasons of Criminal Minds wrapped up a few loose ends. And I'd love it if Reid and Garcia could find partners because Garcia's relationship with Kevin was brilliant and Reid really deserves to not be alone (it's been long enough since Mauve, and our boy needs some happiness). Or maybe Reid could adopt a child. I have an image in my head of Reid holding a baby girl he'd rescued and making a silent promise to protect her at all costs. However this show ends, let it do so well...

They done tried to kill Reed/Reade so many gaddam times... can we stop it already! Damn!
this is the epitome of "my comfort characters have never seen a day of comfort in their lives"
Now when the latest kidnap and/or try to kill Reid crap is over can we please get rid of those writer hacks that apparently cannot come up with a good script without that kind of lazy bullshit drama and get some that can write some intelligent crima cases?
the first few minutes, how small/young they were. i often forget that we grow old

The writers really must hate Reed's character. How many types are we gonna have to watch an episode in which they torture that little cinnamon roll? I'm getting a little bit tired of that.
Other than that, good 300th episode. I seriously love the relationship between Reed and JJ. It was heartbreaking to watch her in the bathroom and that short scene after she gave birth. Lovely! But please, stop hurting Reed so many damn times. It's getting tiresome
