The dog is ok and that’s what matters.
Poor Luke! I don’t really understand why they keep giving us cases that are personal to the team… I like those episodes, too, but prefer the "classic" ones with independent cases
Crap episode. Stop dragging up old shit and create stupid vendettas.
Seriously, what's with all the home cases lately? It's like serial killers are TRYING to get the BAU's attention.
He should've taken the shot.
Why is Luke acting like Garcia is an annoying little sister?
Why did they kill off Phil? It seems like they just wanted to give Luke's character some drama. The murder of that cop in Mexico (Manny) would have more than provided that. It's not even like when Hailey died or Maeve. We hardly knew Phil, so his death just seems like a waste. He was supposed to be a character we were rooting for to get better, then they just killed him off. Plus, I was really hoping he'd be able to hook up with Penelope. She could use some lovin'.
Why TF did Emily immediately jump into a lecture after Luke gave up? Let the man catch his breath at least. The first thing you say to a man who just had a moral crisis is "You disobeyed a direct order"?! Even Hotch would have waited until he was calmed down.
WHY TF IS LISA TRYING TO LEAVE?? What are the writers doing?? Do they just hate Luke all of a sudden? One bad thing happens and Lisa is out the door. Dump that chick, Luke. She ain't faithful.
What even was this episode? It's like a Whump fic that made it into the show. Luke's best friend dies (and his former team member), he gets demoted and grounded, and his girlfriend threatens to leave him all in the same day. With all the crap the writers were throwing his way, I thought for sure this episode would end with him either quitting or getting fired. It seemed like the writers were trying to get rid of the guy in the most traumatic way possible. I'm not even a Luke fan and I find this screwed up...

Drama drama you've been naughty and we're taking your badge but it's not necessarily permanent.

I love how this season is relating past events or old cases to the recent ones. It was like that from the beginning and I'm starting to like this sort of storytelling. It's getting really into guessing the unsub, and it sometimes wasn't that clear. In this episode, for instance, I immediately thought he was gonna kill Phil but when I saw Like driving to Lisa, I was afraid that Roxie might get hurt. And I couldn't have handled that.
I don't like Lisa. And by that I don't mean her on general, but the fact that I know they will soon transform that into a Hotch-Hayley situation, and I'm not up to that.
I loved seeing Prentiss being the chief unit and instead of behaving like a friend. I understand what Luke might be feeling, yet it doesn't mean what he did was right.
That scene at the end...Damn, Luke nearly make me cry. The same when he found out Phil had been killed. Props to the guy. He made me feel every emotion.
I wish he'd be on the field soon enough, although a little time behind a desk wouldn't hurt him and would give him time to think.
Also, since Luke was off-duty, wouldn't that mean that he could actually be sent to jail? Anyway, liked the episode and, since I'm sure that Grant guy will probably be back in some sort, I just hope there's no other Haley moment with Lisa and Luke.
