Is this show just a giant love letter to Garcia? I mean, there must be someone else just as great as her, or even better?

Not sure we needed another BAU has to be closed down power play within the FBI. We already had that in previous seasons. I also am not sure I needed that "Tara has a girlfriend" moment. There was no mention in previous seasons, and it feels a bit on the face that it's of course her girlfriend who has all the connections to uncover all that internal FBI-BS going on. Plot device indeed.

Really, it's all about power both in the FBI wanting to shut down the BAU and among the chain of serial killers. By the way, this organization of serial killers is reminding me of The Blacklist, if only one of them surrender will be more exactaly. hahahahah

One of the best parts of this show has always been the fluidity of the cast. Just like would happen in real life, primary cast members have come and gone. As of now, only two original cast members remain. I'm sure I'm not unique in the fact that my favorites were Reed and Garcia. As long as those two remain, and casting remained solid, I'd be good. Now, at least at the moment, Reed is gone. Amazingly, in part because the tone of the show is darker than ever (and swearing!) and the familiarity of Rossi and JJ, I'm ok with that. I absolutely hope that Reed returns, but if he doesn't, and the show can keep it interesting, I'm down for another 15 years.
