It starts off a bit basic, but the end is honestly so surprising and vulnerable, I loved it. Good combination of filthy and deep somehow, I would definitely watch season 2.
When I first started the show I though I automatically get ATLANTA (Childish Gambino) vibes from the show. It actually wasn't bad at all it explores mental health, it explores a rapper taking on industry giants and what that means to them. It just weird enough to keep your attention and funny enough to bring you to the next episode. I definitely would like a season 2 of this.
Yeah, one episode is enough of this crap for me, boring old tripe is an understatement. And to think, decent series' get cancelled to be replaced by crap like this...
I thought this was very good. It had much more depth than I was expecting. I hope it gets a season 2.
Season one was great throughout and a really fun watch but season two loses a lot of the charm and comedy that we had grown to love early-on. Some of this is lost as a couple of characters become far less involved but overall it just fell into a bit of a depressive hole. I'd happily rewatch season one over and over but season two, I can do without.

I love this darn show and I have no idea a 4th season wasn't coming! It is raunchy. The style is quirky. The cameos are great. The music is obviously solid. The plot is just enough. With only a 15 hour runtime, I will surely binge this one many more times in the future. If you like raunchy humor then this should be a must see show. The only reason this show is not a higher average is because the second season was pretty average. The first and third were incredible.

This is probably THE WORST show i've ever watched for so many reasons.
It's completely degenerate and narcissistic. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about the main character. He's like a disgusting and warped neurotic Woody Allen wannabe. His over the top jewish stereotypes only reinforce that the jew is all about himself and his perversions. This show is, in many ways, what is completely wrong with the West and our slide into moral decay. Every idea this show promotes leads to our cultural downfall. I'm only halfway through S2 and I just have to turn it off.
Season 1&2 very good 3 the ending was not as funny as the 1st 2

Love this show, love all the characters. Even Dave/Lil Dicky can be endearing in his egotistical narcissistic ways. The writing is top notch the cameos are fun. Dave is more than just a Lil Dicky.
Fantastic! This show will have you crying laughing. Has a surprisingly deep story and rich with the "Lil Dicky" satirical comedy.
If you're a Lil Dicky fan and you're looking for an underdog type show, skip this. As of episode 7 there's only been 1 rap scene and a bunch of slow ass drama comedy:thumbsdown:

It's satirical, just like Lil Dicky's music. It fits the lineup of FX shows, and is a decent option for mindless watching. There's also impressive celebrity rapper appearances in each episode.
