This is one of my least favorite episodes in the series for multiple reasons, none of which related to the mystery itself because I do find that aspect enjoyable. No, my problem is with character choices that are either infuriating or downright out of character. First, I find it ridiculous that they would make Florence react this way to Neville and his evidence. You want to tell me that a button that shouldn't be at the crime scene, that has been lied about, that has been confirmed to have been worn by the suspect, is a weak piece of evidence? Really? When this series has used toothbrushes and a singular dead bug and a missing bookmark as decisive evidence before, among many other much weaker evidence? Like, be for real right now. If it had been anyone else but Neville saying this, no one would bat an eye. Which brings me to the second point - I absolutely hate how they keep making Neville's weak body the butt of the joke and pretending he's super weird. This man is still not making anything up, he has been genuinely sick the entire time. So, for the love of god, stop doing this and stop making characters we know and love who will never treat someone badly because they're sick disdain of him. Florence would never... and yet she does! Makes my blood boil. Not to mention that after so many mysteries being solved because the time of death was fictitious, this team should not be so dismissive of the idea someone with a "rock solid alibi" might be the murderer...
