Gaby is a piece of work. I find it so funny when she explains to Juanita that Carlos’ family sucks, that she hates them, that she uses the jewelry to make them feel bad. But that they go to their meetings because they are “family”. And I really love the moment of Aunt Connie’s announcement, talking about having a few months to live and Gaby opening the can at that same moment. Her behavior when she learned that Connie needed someone to take care of her niece was also funny. Removing jewelry, hugging her daughters. I think it’s cool that Carlos wanted to do something nice and important like that, and Gaby refusing was being very selfish, since they have resources, a big house... The problem is only in this dialogue between Connie and the other woman. Ana goes to their house with some secret, which doesn’t seem to be a good thing... Soon they’ll find out. What will it be?
Tom seems to live in a loop, it’s usually like that, he gets excited about something, tries to do it, it doesn’t work, he feels like a failure... But really, I can’t be mad at him in this episode. Because I didn’t see anything wrong with wanting to go back to school, I don’t think he’s old enough for that. Lynette was the one who was too wrong to want to control this decision, she manipulated him to make him get drunk and miss the exam... And in the end, his idea wasn’t isolated, nor was it a whim. It had a purpose behind it that she herself recognized to be “brilliant”. I feel really sorry for him, really... When he apologizes for letting her down, having no idea that she pulled the strings for him to fail, it’s frustrating. I hope he gets another chance to take the exam at the university.
How can a man as ridiculous and oblivious to himself as Orson? I think it’s funny when he says he tried but couldn’t come up with an answer, a justification for Bree hiding things from him. He psychologically blackmailed her into getting a job at her company, making a show of leaving her room and only coming back when she did exactly what he wanted. He put on another unnecessary show when he learned that Andrew’s salary was higher than his. He stole a lot of things from the people next door – even Bree’s earrings he stole. He confessed that he was doing it to hurt her. And now he sees no reason? Please. I loved Bree so much that she didn’t care anymore, that he could take whatever he wanted, and that the only thing she wanted was to get out of the marriage. WONDERFUL. And Orson, not satisfied, went to blackmail again. He’s too nasty. Bree deserves better than that. I hope she doesn’t give in, that she goes to Karl and finds a way to get rid of his blackmail without harm. I want Orson to fuck himself A LOT, to stop being so mean and manipulative.
How Katherine accepts such a thing... I don’t understand. She knows, she’s seeing before her eyes that Mike still has feelings for Susan. She is aware that the proposal only came about because seeing Susan “moving on” with Jackson was kind of a trigger for Mike. To insist on this, just with the idea that she “can make him happy, he just has to forget about her”, is to look for disappointment. And Mike himself is terrible at it, since he fed Katherine’s feelings and hopes, being obvious that he really loves someone else. I like Katherine, I didn’t want her to get hurt from this relationship, but everything indicates that she will be disappointed.
Guys, Dave is an unbalanced man. He suffered a psychotic break when his family died, he became dangerous, he was being controlled with medication. There’s no reason to seek coherence in his decision to want to kill an innocent child, as this only further illustrates his madness. And it’s worth remembering that in his head, the way he sees things, he does have coherence. What he wants is to make Mike and Susan go through the same pain as him, which is losing someone they love, a child, etc. For him, ending the person responsible for the death of his family is too easy a way out. He wants to impose suffering. I think it’s pretty heavy – that scene where he’s determined to walk down the street towards MJ to shoot him dead is very tense and disturbing. And now he’s one step away from getting what he wants, with this trip and no one not dreaming what his intentions are. Too bad the police didn’t find Jackson sooner, I think there could even be a preventive arrest for Dave now that they know he was in the warehouse where Dr. Heller has been found.
