Sorry, the incredible acting aside, I can’t stand his voice, and let’s be honest it’s not Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford and it never will be
Great cast !!great acting !!!but there’s not one likable character nobody to root for and quite frankly I’m not sure I wanna watch an original version of Andy Cohen and the Real Housewives
"You miserable little faggot" YES
Ah, yet another proof to the famous life lesson that those who gossip with you about other people, will end up gossiping about YOU with others. One would think the women of 50's-60's high society would know better, but apparently basic street smarts (beyond marrying up) is not what landed them in upper echelons of high society to begin with. I honestly don't find any of the characters likeable, and they all got what they deserved.
yikes.
lush costuming and grand sets can’t distract from the fact that the dialogue is hammy and the story is bland. which, considering the real events makes no sense like truman was literally the drama? what’s going on here. ik murphy backed productions are always trite at best but hm. there’s just something so disappointingly inelegant about how everything is playing out.
I wasn't expecting the infamous betrayal to happen in the pilot. Now I wonder what the rest of the 7 episodes will be about. Flashbacks?

the 2-second camera angle of Russell Tovey jacking off Capote was, uh, quite a choice
