that's kind of an insane thing of Serena's grandma to say to a seventeen-year-old. i know they all look in their 20s but actually they're babies, they don't need to have their hopes crushed yet. Also, she knows way too much about how Dan feels/will feel for someone who was never an outsider. Makes me wonder what Cece's past was like
I did not really like this episode as much as I liked the others. I love Serena's development so far though. I am not a big fan of Alison, but her line at the end regarding how your decisions help define you was a real gold nugget.

Ohhh, there's nothing that makes my blood boil like someone not seeing what a person is really like and doesn't believe people when they tell them. This could've been the end of Serena and Dan but Dan's such a kickass God-damn hero and decided 'ya know what? ain't noboby's granny stopping me loving that girl to death.' And good for you, Jenny. You went out and grabbed what you wanted to. dw about the 'rents, they shouldn't have stopped you for living your dream and you'll show them that!
