I love the Peter James books about Grace and his team but this tv series is a poor imitation of the closeness you feel for the characters in the books and how their lifes intertwine, this is just another run of the mill detective series which is sad because it could have been great.

I enjoy Grace for all its Sussex mentions and locations but this week the plot is a bit fanciful. After about an hour of mystery the news breaks that the suspect who appeared to be in multiple places at the same time was not aware that he was one of three adopted triplets, one of whom had turned nasty. In terms of lazy plot lines that ranks down with waking up and finding it was all a dream
