I like the story but really, why did it became a musical

I had no idea there had been a musical episode. What a pleasant surprise! This cast is truly talented. Loved it!

I'm guessing they thought no season 8 & needed to showcase irrelevant talents for their next job?

Completely detracted from the ethos of the show by moving from TV hospital drama to musical.

Damn can Sara Ramirez sing! This is probably the only musical episode of anything I've ever enjoyed.

this episode could’ve rid itself of like, 75% of the silliness and confusion if callie was the only one singing during it. like the answer was right there.

shout out the version of ‘chasing cars’ they sang though, it outsold the original by miles.

i'm not going to lie, i watched this once 2 years ago and that was fine for me. i just skipped this.

Wow, this was the worst episode of this show. Why did they have to do that? It completely ruined the mood, the tension and the narrative. I have no idea what Shonda intended to achieve with a musical episode, but it came across as ridiculous (not in a good way). If I could rate it -1000 I would.

I really loved the musical bit, the idea that it's Callie's near death experience is executed brilliantly, and as a music lover I was really impressed by everyone, truly fun episode, and the fact that both survived eventually is great too, although not typical

The episode was good... BUT why, Shonda, why!!? If the plan was to kill either Callie or the baby, or both, I could understand it. But they both survive, so... why make all the viewers suffer!?? That's just mean!! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Also, wow, Callie and Miranda can sing!
