Great episode!!
It was a very interesting case of the week... and this time kudos to the writers for giving continuity to the fake money, as well as tying it up with Hirsch, I like how in episode 6.03 Steve and Lou found famous and valuable paints in Miko's apartment, just to be justified now that Hirsch was the one that sold him those. And also great job in the money just being a way to connect Hirsch to the case without making it a big focus, shows that just like in real life, not all connections to crime is like a big conspiracy or something like that, just coincidence.
The kidnapping case, along with the recluse millionaire was really interesting. And I like how Hirsch was compelled to do the right thing, he has a good heart (it's like Kamekona, he's not all good because of shady business, but he is kind).
Speaking of Hirsch, he is AMAZING! I LOVED his scenes with Kono, as well as the interaction with everybody. I'll sure be happy to see him again. Lovely that he came bearing gifts in the end I LOVE those caricatures so much!
Missed Danny in the episode, but loved how the team mentioned him. And then Steve was really sweet asking Jerry Rice for an autograph for Danny, he sure will love it. Also, I'm so happy that Jerry only appeared as a cameo and not involved in the case!!
Lou was a great friend too trying to cheer Steve up! He's really part of the Ohana. <3
Now for Adam... I have mixed feelings about this... I like that they are realistic enough as to not make the Yakuza nice and just forgiving and letting Adam go. But at the same time, I'm kind of bored with that SL. I wanted Adam/Kono to actually have a shot at being happy, but with him keeping secrets from her, and the likely of Yakuza start to use him for their business, odds are he's either going to die, leave or they'll break up :(
