I'm never getting over the sheer audacity of Lestat in this episode. Putting Antoinette on Come to Me. And he still has the gall to keep seeing her after. Certifiably insane shit right there. Not to mention his shit with Claudia on the train. God his inability to let people be happy away from him, his desperate need to control everyone he loves . It's so overwhelming here. And Sam Reid plays his outbursts brilliantly.

And Louis absolute despondency here is so affecting. He's sunk to a level of dissociation and depression by the second half of the episode that just permeates everything. And Jacob Anderson renders that distance so well. It's in the deadness of Louis eyes and the slump of his posture especially. he's just completely drained of life

Interview with the Vampire is the peak of fail marriage toxicity in this episode is delicious and excruciating. Claudia sharpening her claws Louis despondency Lestat's tyrannical control. This show birthed the concept of toxic found family and I'm eating up every minute of it.

As much as I have been indulging Lestat's toxicity this whole season he really went too far here. As I said he's fueled by selfish loneliness. But honestly, at this point, I think he's spent so much of his life absolutely miserable that he is terrified of true joy and contentment. The moment he sees someone else chasing pleasure he doesn't control he has to bring them back down into his muck of misery.

Like Angels Put to Hell by God is probably my favourite episode of the season. White other episodes have more sharp or shocking moments nothing comes close to matching the pure satisfaction of all the pieces coming to place here.

Claudia is the biggest and the best (even killing humans).
