Really digging this season so far. Sunny carrying the baby with Bajie as a sidekick has that "adventure" vibe to it, especially if they have to overcome a different situation each episode just to keep moving. I wouldn't mind several episodes of this.
And then you have the Widow's war efforts, important to the plot but without the whole "baron/baroness" system being as overbearing as in previous seasons... with the Azra story thrown into the mix, which adds the myth element. I was surprised that the Widow already went to meet Pilgrim as well and some characters converged there - these days a lot of shows have several "set up" episodes to get to something like that.
The only weak point so far is M.K. in my opinion. I feel like he's the only character with a frustrating behaviour right now as they insist on focusing on either his dark self/powers or the death of his mother (which comes from season 2) whereas with people like Sunny or Lydia there is this whole journey from who they used to be.
Also, when the drunken master from Iron Fist shows up, you know it will be a good one.
