[5.4/10] Big “meh” to this one. I don’t mind a little gross out humor, but between Frank’s deteriorating health, the farts and “butt smell” of the chair in the office, and the literal buckets of blood involved, this was just all grossness without any real cleverness of humor to it.
The rest of the episode was no great shakes either. Mac being too dumb to understand how to “play both side” is a solid enough gag but was delivered in an on the nose fashion. Dee being “arch” was good for a quick laugh but pretty minor in the episode. And I’m kind of tired of Dennis’s diabolical plotting, “Franquito” or no “Franquito”.
Overall, this episode feels like a wasted opportunity. The gang jostling for power seems like a solid premise for an episode, but this one devolves into a bunch of lame gross out humor without much else to show for it.
What if there's, like, a mutant living down there? We can get him up, and he can live in the bar with us.
Charlie, you actually gave up most of your shares for various sandwiches and snacks and sundries and things.
... in the very likely event of our untimely deaths.
Oh, that- yeah, there it is: Chrundle, written in blood.
I got a piping hot grilled Frank for you, okay? I got the sausage, the Spam, the bacon, I got it wrapped in a jelly pancake and cooked with a stick of butter.
There's traces of more than four individuals in here, and at least one animal.
The only thing that I can tell you is that based off of how much blood is in this bucket, your friend is in desperate need of blood.
Oh, think of it, brother.... With them out of the way, we can do as we please. Two butts, one throne.
Alright. If I am gonna play both sides, what should I do?
Can't imagine it was gonna be a very good sample anyway -- there are quite a few pickles floating around in that bag.
