No. I am not okay with this. There have always been episodes where Rose McIver didn't get the zombie make-up, fine. But on every-episode basis I am totally against it.
A procedural with normal looking people just pretending to be zombies is terribly boring and doesn't set this show apart from all the other procedurals enough. Eating the brains of the deceased for the show becomes a gimmick only, happening in the background. Pretending to be human when you're a zombie is actually fighting being a zombie, anyway.
iZombie is stripping away one thing after the other, things making this show really great and intriguing once.
First Major turning into a massive asshole, then the Filmore Graves storyline and New-New Seattle, letting Blaine do whatever he wants when he isn't important to the plot, now this.
I am starting to think that it's perhaps time to end this show, it lost itself too much and got too big too fast.
The writing of this episode was somewhat heavy handed at the end as well, Jim G put it very well.
Also, fuck you Major.

Absolute idiot ending. Only a dumbass Hollywood writer hack would think of writing something as stupid as an otherwise fairly intelligent person sitting with their headphones and back to the door doing illegal stuff when living together with an attorney.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact they decided to put an Aly & AJ song yet again in the soundtrack to the episodes - in this case, it was I Know playing through Liv's headphones at the very end, which is a bop!
Really enjoyed this episode. One of the best if not the best of the season so far. Liv on that brain was loveable and fun... and her new love interest is amazing. I love Levon. Please don't kill him lol.
D hunting Liv was a hoot! Some brains get definitely funnier results than others. Too bad about that sloppy, lazy and terribly written ending, it ruined the episode for me. Also, not enough Ravi or Blaine in this episode, which I guess contributed for its dullness.
And I miss pale white Liv... Regular skin tone Rose McIver is no fun. That Renegade storyline feels very out of character for Liv, I don't like where they're going with that. I truly hope they'll wrap it up this season and not end it in a stupid cliché of a cliffhanger of Liv being sentenced to death after they find out she's been replacing Renegade. Just the thought of such a season finale... Ugh!

A solid outing until that insanely stupid final twist. I imagine that Liv's thought process went something like this: "While I'm breaking all sorts of laws, I should probably sit here wearing headphones and listening to music so that I can't hear my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, when she comes home. And I should make sure that my laptop screen is facing the door to my room in order to make it as easy as possible for my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, to immediately see that I'm breaking all sorts of laws when she walks into my room and surprises me. Because being surprised by my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, is something that will work out well for me when I'm breaking all sorts of laws."
