Gosh, this series really got to me. Especially episode 1 & 2. Tragic and beautiful all at once. Amazing effort and I’m someone who considers BBC documentaries as the gold standard. The score was pure brilliance. There isn’t too much info about it online, but apparently it’s also known as ‘The Lions Rule’ and made by Terra Mater. The lion prides are also not well documented online anyway, besides some great photographs by Marc Mol. Ruaha is a place I’ll be visiting someday. Amazon only have a DVD version of it but no Blu-Ray, if anyone finds info on the Blu-Ray version please respond to this comment and fill me in.
