[7.7/10] Lots of fun! Witch Hazel is much more entertaining in this one, from the mess of hair pins she leaves when she bolts into another room, to her mounting a boom to chase after bugs only to realize that it’s actually her “sweeping broom”.

The art style here is better than in the prior Witch Hazel short, with a more minimalist, stylistic background that makes everything feel a touch hinky. I also love the premise as a reverse Snow White, with the Witch worrying that she’s no longer the ugliest in the land. There’s great humor in the reversal, including amusing lines like “Who undoes your hair?”

The turn where Witch Hazel starts trying to poison Bugs so she can get the proper ingredients for her stew is solid as well. Bugs inadvertently giving her the pretty-ifying tea, to where, to her horror, she turns into a beautiful woman, is an amusingly arch place to end things, even if her being chased by the man in the mirror is a little cringey.

Overall, tons of good gags and a better omic setup make this the best Witch Hazel short in my book.
