Terrific episode, with great backstory.. Who is Jacob, it looked like Ben could see someone, John couldn't. Richard certainly ages well, doesn't he - how old is that guy?
John is seemingly dead, an attack is approaching on the beach, what does Jack have in minds to save everyone this time
Michael Giacchino adds a lot to the dramatic/emotional weight of a scene with his genius soundtrack. 'Dharmacide', the melancholic seven-note melody, is so touching and fits perfectly in the scene where Ben kills his father and the Others enters the barracks after killing all of Dharma residents. And that shot of the face of Ben with the gas mask, focusing on his eyes, just beautiful and so revealing of Linus' twisted mind. What an episode, well directed and written, giving us a hell of a character study of the fascinating Ben Linus, with the bravura perfomance of Michael Emerson.
As we all had seen in this episode, that it turned out to be Ben's father who is Roger (workman) who was found dead in Hurley's Hippie Van! But the funny part about it was that they played the same song during the Hippie Van scene as they did in the episode where Hurley was driving the same Van! Lol
It turned out to a horror movie...

Great episode with lots of information on Ben and The Island. Dissapointed we didn't see Annie after the dharmacide!
