Loved it!
Starting from the blurry scenes in the beginning when Lucifer was drunk to the scene where he finally shows his true self to Linda. Even the scene with Maze and Trixie was nicely played out. Sure Maze looked scarier than THE DEVIL but what the hell, it was still good. The story is finally moving on… towards what one would expect after reading the title.
Watching all the bad writing in most of the previous episodes finally paid up!
Hope they won’t ruin it with the next one…
The last 20 seconds just raised my vote from 6 to 8. Easy.
This episode was spectacular.
The directing was spot on and the procedural tied in nicely with Lucifer's guilt ridden rampage towards the end. Even the B-story of Maze and Trixie was well written and put together nicely and Amenadiel's scenes at Uriel's grave gave me some chills.
I love that these characters are humanised despite their avid desire to seperate themselves from the humans throughout the show.
And to top it off, the music in general was great, but that piano cover of Unforgiven was both well made and, metaphorically speaking, I feel like it symbolises that Lucifer will always feel guilty even if he tries to hide it under alcohol and cigarettes.
Amazing episode!!!
About time someone close to him see the real him. I want next episode when Chloe see him, he tells her that he took her advise and spoke to his psychiatrist. Then she sees her and notice that that she's not well. She then can't say what she saw and definitely tries her best to avoid him by all means.
I loved how hurt Chloe looked in their final scene together.
Lucifer has never lied to them, but they all think he's talking metaphors.
Best episode yet, so far, for sure! The friendship between Trixie and Maze is a lovely addition, and Trixie’s reaction to Maze’s face was gorgeous!! Downside: they shouldn’t have showed Lucifer’s face!! That one was just… nope. Poor Linda tho.
Seriously.. That response from the doctor at the end was sooooo good. She hardly moved but you could just see it sink in.. the realization, the despair.. Like she saw life itself be destroyed in front of her eyes. She went pale, here eyes started to become watery, her expression went numb..
Nothing but respect for how this was acted and put on camera. Truly amazing.
Brilliant, mate, now you've done it. You just broke the doctor! :joy:
Finally, this ending i liked... now the detective please

That was one hell of an episode (no pun intended). Best episode of the season so far. I loved everything. I was in total shock and awe. Everything was just perfect. Lucifer's guilt, Amenadiel's blame, Maze and Trixie, detective douche getting punched in the face. Tom Ellis can truly act. He was terrific this episode. He always is, but today, he hit the spot. Comedy, tragedy, drama, everything is spot on. In this week's episode I just wanted to give him a hug. Yes. Hug the Devil . Just give the Devil a big big hug.
I also loved the music in this episode. That was amazing. Kaleo's Way Down We Go while they were looking at Uriel's grave was incredible. The pace, the rhythm, everything. And when you think this can't get any better Lucifer plays Unforgiven in the piano. That sing is my blindspot. I simply love it. I rewatched that part more times that I can even count. I just loved that scene.
The only thing I found a little weird was the ending. Sure they could've made him look more terrifying. He looked pitiful in a way. Maze looked truly more terrifying than him. Sure they couldve pulled a better one together. At the beginning of season 1 he really looked different.
Anyways, a great applause to writers, directors and actors. This episode was shockingly beautiful.
