"The Chlamydia" episode - sorry - "The Detective Day" episode was definitely the most fun episode of this (rather dull, I might add) season, so far. There's a lot that could be said about it, but I'm just ending my comment with this: that wallpaper! xD
That was so much fun! This show has lines that make me spit my drink and laugh like a maniac. "Now, you've managed to offend thedetective more than anyone, to the point where she actually divorced you", lol. I love Lucifer!
I'm glad we didn't get another Diller episode. After that huge cliffhanger I wanted to know more about Cain and his confrontation with Lucifer, and we finally got it. I feel bad about him and I want Lucifer to kill him. I don't know where to feel bad for that robust glad that it's gonna happen. Now I'm just wondering what's it gonna take to end him once and for all. I'm guessing there's a weapon that can do it so, Azrael's blade maybe? But it's in another dimension, though. Anyway, I'm sure finding it its going to be a fun ride.
On the other side, I'm not a fan of the other storyline. Maze is great, Linda is awesome and Amenadiel is so funny but that forced romance? Please, the writers can do so much better. It feels as if they have no idea what to do with their characters.
Ella is just the sweetest thing ever! I feel for her. Seeing her almost crying broke my heart. I loved the look on her face when she hugged Pierce. I also loved Charlotte. the way she faced Pierce was something from the books. I loved how menacing she was and how he put Pierce where belongs.
If there's one thing that'll be forever in my mind is that screensaver. That was...there're no words to describe it. Lol.
noooooo please no soap storyline! I don't want to see some disgruntled woman get pissed over her ex and her best friend!
Finally not a filler episode, plus Maze handling knives, that's the show I want.
Sad for Ella not being less talkative for the future episodes...
It's Detective Day ! Best day ever !
We return to normal episodes, expecting to see things done together with Lucifer and the lieutenant

Charlotte confronting Pierce about Ella was legendary. She may be just a mortal, but she's still just as terrifying and powerful as she was when Mom occupied her body. I loved it. And Ella's lil' happy face when she hugged Pierce! What a precious bean!
This was a fun episode. As annoying as Lucifer is sometimes, I liked how genuine he was when he told Chloe that they're partners and that the stuff that matters to her matters to him as well. I'm not a fan of the Linda/Amenadiel/Maze storyline though, I could've done without it. And I'm looking forward to seeing how Lucifer will go about figuring out how to kill Pierce. I suspect it's going to be hilarious.
Also, how bad was that Dan surfing montage?
