This was a bittersweet end to a show that I was enjoying in earlier seasons. They really screwed the pooch with S5 more than any other. It may have not been everyone’s cup of tea, but it was a way to bring MacGyver back to a younger crowd, and I’m sad to see it go.
I liked this show more with Jack. His character added a lot of fun and heart to the show. Season 2 was by far the best. Made some questionable casting choices and story line moves after that. The final season “going woke” really soured what would have been a great show. That’s Hollywood for ya.
It definitely could've been an interesting series finale if they'd made it a two-parter - I wholeheartedly agree with everyone else, that this episode felt too rushed.
I was hoping to see what they'd do to add 6 phrases in the title for season 6. It was already pretty long in season 5 with 5 additives.
Sad this and NCIS New Orleans ended but the Equalizer was renewed ?? Didn’t feel like a series finale at all.
Both this and NCIS New Orleans got short seasons too.
Finally! I'll never have to watch another awful episode of this show, or anything with Meredith Eaton, ever again! This should have been cancelled 4 seasons ago :joy:

absolutely terrible. I've grown to expect a certain level of cheese and for the episodes to feel hurried but wow.
