Anyone else absolutely dining on the delicious irony of Peggy mf Olson failing to advertise herself to other women? A demographic she's been arguing over (and for) for the last 2 seasons? She's pushing for a good roommate in Manhattan and can't properly communicate what she wants. It's just so fucking yum. Honestly her whole plotline carried this episode, the goddamn interview with the Norwegian hater??? Damn dude I didn't know Scandanavians had it out for each other in 1963 lol. And then you have to eat crow as it's made clear to us as to how she sees herself in the eyes of her family. Still yum.
Sally's scene, where she confronts the adults about their behaviour in the wake of her grandfather's death. Betty dismisses her, "Go watch TV!" What does she see? A monk's self-immolation in South Vietnam. Perfect screenwriting imo.
