Well, that imminent marriage didn't last long. I saw that coming from a mile away. And honestly, I don't get why Rick and T.C. have had separate storylines recently. It's a little disjointing. They're better off helping Thomas with his cases instead of having their own, in a sense. Also, why did Rick mention when his father died? Isn't he in the finale? I mean, I'm about to find out. His father found out that he had cancer, right? But I don't remember his latest appearance ending in his death. Maybe his appearance in the finale will be in a flashback. Or maybe this episode and the finale were filmed out of order or something. That scene with Rick just seemed weird. Anyway, this was a decent episode. Nothing that exciting, or great. Then again, that's the standard that has been set for the show. But it always serves as some level of entertainment.

Edit: Well, Icepick is just a father figure to Rick. I'm sure that was stated before, but I forgot all about it. My bad.

the b storyline with the girl and the boat were weak and the episode definitely could have gone without it entirely. the ending was a bit of a twist but nothing short of somewhat predictable, given higgins' character.
