I was on the edge of my seat for the whole duration of the episode! This show just keeps getting better.
What an adrenaline filled amazing episode. Loved it.
Such an incredible episode; I felt like I was holding the breath the entire time, the suspense, fear and bittersweet moments at the end of the episode.
Austin in particular really shone in this episode and I feel like this is a turning point for Cleven’s.
Can’t wait for next weeks!
RIP Lt. Curtis. Also in Flanders we speak Flemish and not French but in the preview for next episode I saw a Flemish actor so I'll assume this was a French speaking family.
Amazing battle scenes, intense and excited to see the story of escaping back to England.
What an epic, exciting, harrowing episode! So many losses, not least the poor guy who bailed out of another fort and comes tumbling through the air, only to strike the wing of Cleven's plane! Best episode yet, of what is a superb series.
I was not ready for this episode. Very intense and so well done. I love the actors in this show.
I still can’t believe our ancestors went through all of this shit.
Fantastic episode, very exciting- WOW
My mouth was literally hanging open about 27373 times this episode — the story has really ramped up now and the action in this one was out of this world. That shot of the poor guy getting cut in half as Cleven watched on helpless, his men dying around him but just wanting to complete the mission. So powerful.
I was so glad to see more Austin Butler this week and he’s really showing what a versatile actor he is :clap_tone1:
i guess if you dont know the island sardinia that they were flying next to half the time its easier to make it more suspenseful

On one episode of "Band of Brothers" I once wrote that no show or documentary can ever relate what it means to be in battle. But this episode was tense, it was frantic and you can get an idea what these men went through. And you really have to be amazed that they did it again and again.
The airbattle scenes in this show are through the roof. It's not all about the action, though. We are reaching a point now where losses are becoming more meaningful for the viewer.
