Closure.
I could not understand why that mysterous man gave photos to woods man but then he kidnapped himself? Because woodsman could not do it?
Woodsman would kill him. But if that mysterous guy was stalker of frank, he is not killer. Why did he want catherine to be killed?
We will learn next season i hope.
I watch series season by season so i will move to another series now. I will miss this series.

Why is Catherine's mother hassling her about having another child? Catherine and Frank struggled for years to have a kid, so the grandmother would be understanding about the situation and not hassling, she likely would have made peace with Catherine not having children. Then when she does have a child she would realistically be very happy that Catherine had a child and she now has a grandchild. She knows since it was hard to conceive one child it would be hard to conceive another, so the grandmother realistically would not be hassling Catherine to have another child.
Just your typical writers forgeting what's already been written or established.
Ugh.
Why are the writers inflicting more suffering on Frank's family AGAIN, when they also did it only a few episodes ago.
Ugh.
It's dramatic but so distateful. You really don't have better ideas, writers?
And while i'm here with criticism, let's talk about the mess of the previous episode. Messy story, messy direction, messy characterization, strange antichrist allusions. Like really this is supposed to be like the antichrist? And Frank at the end seems to buy into it all completely. No. At least previous episodes were more subtle or better executed when it came to the religious mythology, and were certainly more interesting than what happened in that episode. I did like the villain, but the episode was a mess overall. The religious mythology in that episode wasn't completely confirmed, so you could interpret it non-religiously, that the guy just happened to survive a headhot wound and walked away, but it was still built to look like he was going to be the antichrist. It was built up to look something more than ordinary.
To be fair to this episode, it was thrilling and interesting, and we get a good exploration of the serial killer character, and a look at the polaroid guy who's been stalking Frank.
I just realized something. So, he abducted her from the airport terminal... Where there there is a crowd of people around. Just why? Why do something dumb like that for the sake of drama?
I enjoyed seeing Frank's family chill for a bit, but Frank soon had to go back to work. We don't get much investigation, but we do get some good insights into the the killer and the exploration of his character and life, which was nice.
Frank had a hilarious one-liner "I don't think it's the beef"
Catherine being abducted does make sense as an element of the story, i just at least wish it was done more realistically and not in the middle of airport terminal.
The season overall though has been very good, even though i've made a lot of criticism. I criticize it because i care, because there's a lot of good things in this show, and i also care to criticize the things i don't like and the things i think are flaws.
