The red light in the therapists office and his moms dining room becoming the focal point of the transition was a master touch.
i feel like i need to rewatch everything after the ending. wuuuuuut?
The greatest thing about this show it's that you'll never know what's coming next. That ending really surprised me, I don't know what was real or what wasn't, my mind just blown with so many questions
WHAT?
I can't really type a proper comment at the moment. Still baffled. So... WHAT?
hang on. what about all the stuff with ray?
Stealing the balls from the Wall Street Bull statue and dropping it through the roof of the Capitol while Congress was voting on a corporation bailout is one of the best metaphors I have ever seen. I LOLed a few minutes after I've seen the bull with his balls cut and thrown into the Capitol.
Haha! Season 1 plot twist all over again.
You did it again, Mr Esmail, my hat to you sir.
Bad twist (or not ?) M
Holy shit that ending. Jesus Fucking Christ this show will be the death of me.
Wait... What?
But.. But.. but.. what about that stuff with Ray? He couldn't have done that from within, right?
I'm puzzled......
What the hell just happened?! Never saw that one coming
/r/mrrobot is on fire. WE DID IT!
Mr Robot is an incredible TV Show, and this episode proves it.
I can't wait to see where this is going, but I'm sure it's going to be AMAZING.
Thank you Sam Esmail.
They actually did it! I never believed those fan theories, but they were true, Elliot is actually in prison! What a twist, wow. This is crazy.
Sorry Elliot, but I can't trust anything you tell me anymore.
Hate to be cynical but the show has jumped the shark for me. Was expecting some sort of naff Fight Club 'mind fk' rip off last season (& I loved the show then for not doing it...) & they have pulled it out now [rolls eyes]. I wasn't that shocked. Decent episode; just a shame they took this boring route.
^if Tyrell Wellick is another split personality of Elliot then I give up. I thought Tyrell was going to be the Fight Club rip off last season but they never did it. Maybe they're holding that one off for season 3 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
mind blown emoji. But what about the Ray stuff? we need answers
I can't believe how EVERYONE had that theory and I didn't (wanted to) believe it. I'm sad on how predictable some things are...
They did it again. Totally mind fucked you right there. Doubt I'll ever trust this show.
Really? I hate this plot twist.
I'm shook! That ending is... unexpected! Wow
That was truly mind blowing.
Oh my god, that ending. Never saw it coming. The episode description is totally wrong though.. Whoever entered that on IMDb/TVDb :')
damn i didn't see it coming. nice.
That's a really, really great plot twist. I read about the theory that he's actually in prison or psychiatry, so I wasn't too surprised, unfortunately. Once I heard about this theory I saw signs everywhere. But nevertheless it's still great and I think it was a real mindfuck for many people. Well done :)
Elliot's hero friend, Leon, is like the Michonne of Mr. Robot here.
why FBI computer shows 2015?
What the hell was that ending??? I'm tottaly puzzled
ETERNAL SCREAMING INTO THE VOID
Holy crap at this episode! WTF! Awesome once again!
Absolutely did not see this one coming....Wow.
Did anyone see that coming? I DON'T THINK SO.
My mind is blown...wow, fantastic

I loved it. The reason why the twist works so well is because it never feels like it's "season 1 all over again", this time Elliot is fully aware of what is happening, it's his own coping mecanism and he is just telling us a lie. I saw theories that he might be in a mental institution early in the season, but after he got involved with Ray I didn't think a scenario like that would be possible. So, I guess Ray was probably a guard/warden and Elliot helped him in a Michael Scofield/Pope kind of way. And when Elliot was "captured" by them he was probably thrown in solitary confinement.
I feel like a fool for not realising it when Elliot was being threatened by those guys in the episode, but the house definitely had that "prison" feel... the visits to the house make so much more sense now, with all the people talking to Elliot looking at the mother and being extra careful.
Once again flawless writing and execution, those shots shifting from imagination to reality at the end were just beautiful. Mr. Robot deserves all the praise it gets, thank you Sam Esmail.
