The way Han MF Sohee ate this whole serie, we don't have choice but to stan!
And I thought Choi Kang Hee was the only Woman who can rock action dramas, gurl better watch out!
Really good watch. I hope people stop asking for a 2nd season. This is good how it is. But if they bring the same cast in a different format I would watch for sure. Best show for me this year.

Great action with a solid story. Especially the final episode was intense. The only thing that bothered me was the egregious overuse of the theme song throughout almost every scene.
At the very most a 6.5 / 10.
Slick expensive Netflix production coupled with the worst overall plot you could fear for.
I liked the ending, but I also found the last 2 episodes to be quite contrived. The series definitely peaked with episode 6, which was, imo, incredible.
Also, and I have to mention this, Han So-hee's performance was astounding! Her range as an actress is very impressive. I'm not familiar with her other works, but I'm definitely a fan of her.
A decent action drama that lacks good writing but is good enough to semi-mindlessly binge on.
Great crime drama. The shows manages to give the characters enough depth during the 8 episodes. It really reminds the viewer that revenge will not end well for anyone. The fight scenes are very well done, although Ji-woos abilities seem a bit over the top at times. The sound effects could be more subtle, especially during the stabbings.
Overall, My Name was a pretty good for a thriller and action show! It's brutal, tragic & dark. Enjoyed it enough to finish and was at the edge of my seat with nearly each episode...those cliffhangers, twist & turns. Can be quite slow at times, but not too much of a drag from what I remember.
As a woman myself, I love that this has a female lead. Great acting performances especially from Jiwoo & Mujin. There were many objectively unlikable and morally corrupt characters here, but those aren't complaints. Main story, dialogue and side characters were also interesting.
Cinematography and editing were well-done. The action sequences and fight choreography were some of the highlights here. Seriously the fighting scenes kind of crazy. Some things I disliked were Jiwoo's time at the training gym and romance aspect. Not really sure how I feel about the ending.
Will check out season 2 if they make one.
wow what a show! i enjoyed it veryyyyyy much. i loved it so much.
Lots of time-filling and pacing not always consistent, but lots of fun when the exhilarating brawling starts. And intriguing enough to make you want to see it through to the end.
So far, the best 2021 Show.
I really enjoyed this series. Hard hitting, brutal with revenge the main goal. Well acted with the 2 leads carrying the show. Highly recommend and well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:.
Not an action girlie myself, but danggg did this pull me in! Han So Hee was kickass and I've come to realise than Ahn Bo Hyun suits the action/thriller space more than he does romcoms. Loved him here and absolutely gutted with how things ended. Still processing it all!
Albeit a bit predictable, it's still an enthralling ride. Han So Hee absolutely nailed portraying a badass character you can't help but root for and envy for her apparent indestructibility. How many times can one get knocked down before it becomes too hard to get back up?
I have put it off for a while due to my dislike of HSH acting skills and twitter rumours hinting at bad ending for bestie Bo-Hyun . To my relief HSH acted her a$$ off and her hardwork with netflix seems to have finally launched her into a catapult of being a action star. Bo-Hyun does his usual muscle and brains combo sad to see him die at the end but glad he is a good guy
There's nothing revolutionary about the plot or execution, but an incredibly capable protagonist and antagonist that play off of each other so well make this an adrenaline-inducing time well spent.
I think you have to rate this for what it is, a martial arts, bloody, action movie. I was a little confused whether the hyperbole of emotion was a cultural thing or overacting but there was a lot of emotive displays. I’m going to be a little generous and give this film a 7 (kick butt) out of 10. [Action]
The story is predictable, and mediocre. But the action—the fight scenes—is very good, the camera effects are great, and even though you guessed it, there's always tension in every episode.
Btw, the soundtrack is cool.
The gang is a mixture of Bratva and Yakuza, but the opponent is a runny kid:joy:.

Excellent show! This is a rock-solid, revenge, action, crime show. So-Hee puts in a really good performance and makes us feel her pain.

Im in love with this serie, I like the style and the music
not an original story, but great execution, acting, production and OST. 10/10 highly recommended revenge series
Solid Korean thriller-crime cop drama with a lot of blood and brutality, with lots of action scenes. The only downside is that the plot twist is not really a mystery, you can find it out very easily - or so I did. That however is fortunatly does not spoil the drama, in fact I eagerly awaited the moment our main hero realizes the truth, and it was very satisfying to watch. 8 episodes is not long, but for this story is more than enough, and I welcomed the difference from the popular kdramas.
The actors are great, the characters are not so much - Pildo's character is the weakest IMO, he is existing solely for becoming a romantic relationship for our main heroine, and that was a bad choice I think. It did give an interesting charachter arc for Jiwoo, but not enough for becoming credible, and for this, I think Pildo was in the show in vain.
Anyway, still a very exciting kdrama, looking forward for this type of stuff.

The main actress and the actor playing the crime boss are really phenomenal and carry this show. That being said, this series' quality just went down and down from the very high point of the first episode. It went from a hard-hitting exploration of a grief-stricken woman on a path of vengeance, to a middling cop show, to bloody but very melodramatic soap opera with emotions turned to 11 and flashbacks every five minutes.
Also, while the music was fantastic in the first episode, by the time I had heard it 50 times I was very much done with it.
