Don got abandoned by two partners. So all the physical privations the survival challenge threw him; hunger, cold, hippos, exhaustion, to face the mental challenge of doing it alone - and loving it - was so inspirational.
It would have been totally forgivable if he’d complained and withdrew - but his positivity and resilience was a sight to see.
He wanted to stay there another 21 days. That’s very cool.
