The aspect of Nancy and everyone else, the rest of the Drew Crew, being sleuths together, was what made this episode enjoyable. They've helped her at sleuthing before, mainly in a "giving information" sense but have been out "in the field" before, just like she always is, but this time felt more natural. I don't know how to explain it. As different as this show is in many aspects compared to the books, the combined efforts and team of Nancy and the rest in this episode, for the first time, reminded me of the books as that never happened in previous episodes. I hope whatever induced that feeling sticks around going forward. It is needed and needs to last indefinitely. It's a charm from the books.
