I’m a little confused cause aren’t Nancy’s parents, the detective, Lucy and Ryan all former high school classmates? The detective and Lucy were bffs back in hs, and then the detective was Nancy’s mom bff when they were older so I would assume the three women were around the same age, and then I would assume Nancy’s mom married someone her age so how is Nancy’s dad the one who fixed that Lucy problem when he was also a high schooler?

So, wait. When did the trunk scene from the pilot happened? Cause Lucy died in 2000, but Nancy is supposed to be 18, so how could she see her parents with the trunk? I mean, it did look like they were digging it up, but why would you randomly dig up evidence from a crime five-ish years later? Wouldn't it be best to leave it hidden where it was buried?

Also, I think the Hudsons were involved in Lucy's death, and Nancy's dad helped cover it up, and that's when he quit working for them.

for me i think thats Nancy's mother who killed Lucy Sable and her husband covered her thats why we saw them two buriying the safe in the garden when Nancy was little and telling her it was a dream...

I think Carson really was the one who killed Lucy and not Celia, and the other woman's DNA on Lucy's crown isn't Celia's, as it's being suggested to be but rather Nancy's as a child. Lucy was holding her as Carson was there to kill Lucy, and in some way or another, Nancy didn't get hurt during that confrontation which led Carson to take Nancy and raise her as his own. The theory that Nancy is Ryan and Lucy's child is starting to seem very likely. As crazy and ridiculous as that sounds and would be, this show IS on The CW. 'Crazy' and 'ridiculous' is their thing. But honestly, I'm here for it. This was the best episode of the season so far, and Ryan's becoming one of my favorite characters, so that could turn out to be interesting.
