So I’m totally Team Carson Drew like I don’t see anything wrong with what he and his wife did, like he said, they believed all the Hudsons were against Lucy and he wasn’t 100% certain the baby was Ryan’s. And Ryan was a teen and they left for the safety of the baby, and for 17 years Nancy had a perfect life. If I was in Ryan’s place I would’ve only tell Nancy when she were 18, but after what happened with her mom and Nancy drifting apart because of her grief I get he didn’t find the right time to tell her.
