It's actually unfair how genius this is.
When the episode is so good you could probably make an entire feature length film about them making this episode
Great season finale that incorporates the usual misguided genius that while unconventional and often self serving, occasionally seems to serve the purpose it was apparently intended, even if in a round about way. Corey seemed fairly secondary to the plot and was probably chosen more for the practical aspects of who he is.
I tried to search for information about how Corey felt about the episode and what happened to him afterwards but didn't have much luck apart from him seeming to be doing ok now.

One of the greatest half hours of TV I think I've ever seen. I'm going to have to watch it again. Profound and thought provoking but still very funny in that awkward, terrible way this show always manages.
