Most actually are not violent, without (or with much less) emotions the risk-reward equation becomes much more important. And violence has high risk while the reward is usually pretty low. Thus it makes no sense, thus intelligent "psychopaths" won't do it.
They have the same problem as homosexuals had in the 80ies and before though: They are forced to hide what they are, so the public only gets to see the bad expamples of the "group".
General behaviour towards them is sadly still "They are different, so they must be evil".
Acting out of emotion, the opposite of what a typical psychopath would do by the way...
