So... LeBlanc survived by escaping through one of his panic rooms escape rooms, decided to let the world believe he was dead, started funding the research to find the cure for his and his daughter disease, setup a secret organization where he gave that speech that appeared on the first and last episode, managed to get his hands on the hard drive containing the remainings of neXt, sent his lawyers to defend CM and Gina, but not Shea, all that while still hiding from the world that he is still alive?
Sure, I guess...
And finally, the nightmare is over. The hack writers can do no more damage to an interesting concept. As for this specific outing, two-thirds of it was useless "human drama" filler and the rest was just setting up a brute force solution to the problem. The ending was okay until the last few seconds -- with the exception of the curious fact that Gina and CM were free and, along with the "black site" folks, could have backed up Salazar's innocence and kept her from spending six months (and counting) in prison. She must've just had the worst lawyer in the history of lawyers, or something.

Why do shows do this when they already know they're canceled and already have an episode you could edit to look like a series finale? Get rid of the cliffhanger for your nonexistent next season when you know you're canceled.
