If it carries on like this I can see why it was canned. It's all a bit wishy washy and not that interesting.
I know this is from GRR Martin but it feels much more like Stephen King. They should have horror added to the genre. I haven't read the book but took a quick look at the summary and this seems like something else entirely. Not really interested in seeing how this progresses so I'll skip this one.
Slow start with the set up but once it got moving, worth the watch.

It's as if they took several of my favorite skiffy films of the past and threw 'em in a blender and got a decent result. Good casting certainly doesn't hurt. In just this pilot episode, they got the table set and the plot moving at full speed.
