Who finds Edie Falco attractive? They always refer to her as being a "hot mom", but I just don't see it in any way, shape, or form. I liked her better on the Sopranos, too. She always seems insincere and condescending as Jackie. Totally unlikeable.
The first few seasons was good.
If you look at my profile, you will see that I have watched many shows. Nurse Jackie is the worst character I have ever seen. I watched every season, waiting for her to be killed off or, at the very least, receive karma. I wouldn’t say I liked the character Nurse Jackie. I gave the show a six because of the other characters in Jackie’s life. I just finished the whole series and wondered what became of Jackie.
Zoey is definitely my favorite lol
I really enjoyed this series though Season 6 just isnt going it for me and I think I'll move on. Earlier season were a lot of fun though.
About to watch the last two episodes. Hope this show gets picked up for another season.
I thought edie falco is absolutely brilliant in the show.
Great show but it really goes down hill in the later seasons (from season 4 onward). People acting out of character just for the sake of being the villain. Sudden off screen unrealistic events as a lazy way to solve the previous drama. In season 5 its gets even worse as started doing the whole 'pointless sex scenes just for the sake of having sex scenes' thing, together with some cheap laugh track comedic relief. The plot starts getting pretty thin and repetitive as well. They really should have just wrapped it up in season 4.
But still, the first 3 seasons where pretty amazing. I recommend everyone to watch those at least.
Eddie Falco Is great as Jackie. Found it very compelling.
If House, Dexter and Scrubs had a threesome and a baby resulted from it, it would be a bit like Nurse Jackie. Addiction, a personal sense of righteousness, comedy that takes TIME, a lot of TIME, to grow on you, split lives, racing against the clock... Nurse Jackie is a fun moment on TV.
To be watched in bursts, 1 season at a time. Don't attempt to watch it one episode at a time, because a lot of the underlying fun will be lost on you.
Season 4 it's definitely my favorite season! What a exciting, funny and sad finale the last episode was. Looking forward to an even more great Season 5!

I watched this show a long time ago but I have to recommend because its so fucking good. Not your typical medical drama. The drama is less surrounding individual medical cases, and more about her struggle with addiction. It’s dark at times, but still really funny. The ending is devastating though.
