Oats Studios 2016

I was intrigued that I may find another gem like love, death & robots. Whilst this shares similarities, it falls far more into the experimental and tech demo side of things. Generally stories, whilst potentially interesting are very abrupt and vague, with no satisfying conclusion.
I was actually left wanting more from some of the stronger stories because they were very intriguing, but feel like a trailer / teaser.
Overall some hit and miss but all lack some satisfaction. Would love to see films / expanded shorts of the stronger stories, but seems it was all just a tease 6/10

There are no words to describe the delight.
Each film contains the perfect extract of fiction - a creature, a hint of a backstory, a moral clue, emotions - and all this is short and clear. After each film, I felt almost hungry- I just got into the taste, and then here, the credits.
Not a single superfluous word, not a single superfluous sound. Clean, clear.. and regardless of the other series.
How I want more!
10/10

some episode are just demo techs, other have some basic science fiction plot but mostly it's very absurd and Don't have any logic even in sci fi terms. the ones that I enjoyed was the comical ones like 'god' and 'bad president'

I remember being intrigued after seeing Adam some years ago when UNITY engine advertised it as a sample of what their software cpuld do. Although not conceptually unique (what really is...), the storytelling is strong, particularly in Rakka, Firebase, Zygote and Adam. The series may have been cancelled but I'd still love to see full feature films of those four specifically.
