We learn that: - Earth has been destroyed by technology. Air is poisoned. - There's another faction, that seems to be against the Consortium, but also against the abandoned robots. - The priest can cure illnesses and make people able to breathe the air
Making herdestroy the robot that contains her brother's mind is both very twisted, and totally coherent with their principles.
And of course, bonus points for the final twist, the priest being a robot himself adds another layer of mystery on the actual goals of this place.
