So, in the not so far future: the US have left NATO, Norway abandons fossil fuels because of climate change - and the EU urges Norway to rethink that strategy because they depend on Norway's oil and gas and haven't had the time to adjust to renewable energy sources. But the prime minister Berg insists on his plans which leads the EU to band together with Russia and kidnap Berg. Either he agrees to reopen the oil and gas fields (under Russia's leadership) or Norway's going to be occupied.
Well almost 10 years later, and is the scenario so improbable? Maybe right now, because or Russia's aggressions... but a desperate EU climbing into bed with Russia? Recent events aside, politics makes for strange bedfellows.
But, is this going to be the soft urging - or turn into a real occupation?
